The people of Hamilton deserve leadership that is consistent, transparent, and accountable.

I’m honoured to be recognized by the @stop_the_datacentre election tracker as a candidate who has been consistently on the side of responsible oversight and strong municipal rules for AI data centres. While others changed their positions, my commitment has remained the same: major decisions that will shape Hamilton’s future must be made openly, based on evidence, and with the public at the table.

Being “pro-innovation” should never mean giving corporations a blank cheque. The @CityofHamilton can welcome investment while still protecting our neighbourhoods, our infrastructure, our environment, and our quality of life. We need clear regulations before irreversible decisions are made – not after.

As your next Mayor, I’ll continue to put residents before special interests, transparency before backroom politics, and long-term planning before short-term pressure.

Thank you to everyone who has been paying attention, asking tough questions, and demanding better from those seeking your vote. Democracy works best when elected officials know they will be held accountable.
