Hamilton says NO DATA CENTERS
I’m so proud of the people of this city who organized and fought hard to make their voices heard! It was an honour to be able be part of this movement by showing up to the protests and speaking at the council meeting on June 4th.
Our community deserves to be heard and to have its concerns acknowledged and validated! While Hamilton is steel city, it’s also so much more than that. Hamilton is a city of art, nature, and most importantly, a city with a strong working-class community.
Data centers pose a real and tangible threat to urban life, natural resources, and the livelihood to everyone in the cities and communities surrounding them.
We are waterfalls city, tree city of the world! It’s true look it up!

Let’s keep the fight going to keep our city clean and affordable!
Love you, Hamilton! @cityofhamilton
