Last night at Art Crawl, we handed out over 200 Scarlett for Mayor buttons – and the energy was incredible. ❤️🏙️

More and more Hamilton neighbours are resonating with this campaign because it is genuinely grassroots, working-class, and rooted in real conversations with real people.

I met artists, workers, renters, homeowners, students, seniors, small business supporters, young people, and families who all want the same thing: a Hamilton that is more affordable, accountable, safe, creative, and livable.

I was especially moved by how many single mothers connected with this message. So many are working hard, raising families, navigating rising costs, and still being expected to carry more with less support. They deserve leadership that sees them, respects them, and fights for a city where families can actually thrive.

This campaign is growing because it is built on connection – not political machines, not backroom power, not big money.

Every conversation matters. Every button matters. Every neighbour who believes change is possible matters.

The momentum we are building together is real.

And it is only getting stronger. ❤️
