Binbrook Pride, City Challenges, and the Leader Hamilton Needs – June 15, 2026

There was a moment when I knew I had to run.

It was standing at Bayfront Park one evening after a conversation with a local family who had done everything right – worked hard, contributed to their community, and still felt like they were being left behind. They spoke about rising costs, long waits for services, and the growing feeling that decisions were being made without people like them in mind.

I realized that too many people in Hamilton were carrying the weight of challenges they didn’t create, while their voices were not being heard where it mattered most. I thought about seniors choosing between groceries and prescriptions. I thought about young people wondering if they could ever afford to build a future here. I thought about parents working overtime just to keep up.

And I thought: if not now, when? If not me, who?

Hamilton deserves leadership that listens, shows up, and fights for practical solutions that make life better for everyday people. It deserves someone who understands both the pride and the challenges of this city.

That’s what I’m fighting for.

Thank you to @keaninloomis and @marktadeson_ward11 for showing up to @binbrookpride and for showing your support for my campaign.
