I attended the @hamiltonpoliceontario Use of Force Community Information Session at the @HamiltonLibrary.

I learned a lot about local @cityofhamilton use of force trends, especially as it relates to the disproportionate impacts on Black, Muslim, and racialized residents living in Hamilton.

Excellent questions were posed by audience members to the presenters including by @h.a.r.r.c @lyndon26

There was also critical discussion about the need for more data that more fulsomely captures the realities of the impacts of policing on residents and local communities. @hamiltoncivic
